Stan and Hank

Stan and Henry!! Once upon a time Henry Small a famous rock star with Prism, Burton Cummings and John Entwhistle of the Who, settled down in Kamloops. And fate would have him meet up with radio personality Stan Bailly, also a long time fan of Henry's music And the two found out they had something in common...they both worshiped Henry. And somehow together they have the number one morning show in Kamloops.

Born and raised in the 'Loops, I started listening to 98.3 CIFM before it was Kamloops' Best Rock, when Leo Baggio rocked one mean mullet (I-98 The Eagle anybody?) Lived on the North Shore, but went to school on the South Shore, walking the halls of the 9th Avenue schools: Lloyd George, John Peterson, and Kam High. After a couple of years at UCC, where alcohol and building beer cup towers in Heroes Pub became my focus of higher learning, I finally decided to get a career, so I packed my bags, and enrolled in the BCIT Broadcast Radio Diploma program. Two years later, I score my first job, in my hometown, working at the station I grew up listening to...How cool is that? My perfect day? 30+ Summer day in Kamloops, playing 18 holes or sitting on a patio, with an ice cold beer, listening to a mix of late 80's Hair Metal, and early 90's Rock. There you go...me in a nutshell.

Jeremy

I grew up on the mean streets of Maple Ridge and attended Broadcast school at BCIT. I graduated into a sweet gig in Squamish doing traffic and weather reporting which was thrilling! However, I longed for something else. As it turned out I was longing for small town AM Country music radio in Stettler Alberta, here is a fun game..try to find it on a map. After about a year and half I got a gig here in Kamloops working at CIFM!! Couple things about me, I love all types of music, enjoy playing and watching sports, which is one of the many reasons I like Kamloops so much. Amazing sporting facilities, fields and golf courses which I take advantage whenever I can. Whether it's playing Soccer on Mac Island, golfing on one of the many world class courses or swimming at the TCC. Kamloops is an awesome city that is great to live in. Love talking and playing music for you every afternoon and thanks so much for tuning in!

Stef

Hey, It's Stef...Stef C...Stefanie...whatever really. So - let's get to know one another..shall we? I grew up in Kamloops...flew the coop shortly after graduating and moved to the BIG CITY...Toronto... Now, don't be hating' ... that's where I went to Broadcasting School and worked at two major market stations in Toronto and learned from some of the best in the industry over the last 10 years. After getting married and having a little one...we decided it was time to come back to the 'Loops, raise our family and settle down. I grew up listening to Stan & Henry and Leo Baggio ... so, to be working with the best of the best in Kamloops is truly a dream come true! Life is good...couldn't be happier! We'll be chatting nightly from 6p-midnight and you can find me out and about in the Cruiser...SO - come by and say Hi or Honk when you see me!

It became evidently clear to me in grade 11 when the teacher asked me if Math was going to be important in the career I had chosen...that Radio looked especially good. Now more than 30 years later, I am older than almost EVERY song that I play! (But still younger than Stan and Hank!!) And enjoy hosting the Classic Brunch Sunday mornings more than ever...kinda like goin' home. A marriage of 25 years and two teenage kids at home have helped me realize an mportant thing in life.....Beer. on twitter @audiowhiz / Rick Chapman on Facebook
